Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Local Shift RN – PCU/MS/Tele

Shift: Days / 7:30a-7p, 12×1, 12hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• CA RN License
• 2 year of recent experience
• Must have specific tele, pcu, or stepdown experience
• Line draws, and IV site maintenance are skills are required
• BLS
• EPIC experience required

Other details:

• Charting system: Epic
• Flu Vaccine Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed

**will be strictly enforcing the policy for NO artificial nails as well as nail length cannot extend more than 2mm beyond the end of the finger. Please make sure you are following this protocol as they will be monitoring this closely.*

*MUST HAVE SPECIFIC TELE, PCU, OR STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE.

**Proof of flu vaccination or declination required. Any clinicians with signed declination must wear a mask for the entirety of their shift. Clinician’s that fail to comply will be sent home**

Candidates MUST BE within 70 miles of facility

Requirements:

• BLS

• Interpretation of dysrhythmias

• Management of dysrhythmias

• O2 Protocol

• Non-invasive airway management

• Peripheral line care/management

• Isolation precaution/PPE

• Computerized documentation

• Nurse to patient ratios 1:4-5

• Rapid response team activation

• 2 year of recent experience

Patient Diagnoses

Orthopedic cases, Abdominal Cases, Wounds, COPD, GI Bleeds, Post- Surgical cases

Special Procedures/Unit Details

Central Line Insertions, Bone Marrow BX

Special Equipment

Aleris pumps, SCDs, Wound Vacs, Bear Huggers, Suction , Drains, O2, NG tubes

Orientation Details

– There are no orientations for this position, please make sure candidates are comfortable working at any and all facilities listed without prior training.

Shift Detail

– 12-hour shifts

Additional Details

– Charting system: Epic

– 3 month separation: Previous candidates must be approved by ministry before moving forward
