Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Post Partum (PP)
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- CA License
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of postpartum experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred
Other Details:
- Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring.
- Demonstrated IV Skills and ability to perform lab draws.
- Demonstrated knowledge of high risk medication administration (Magnesium/Oxytocin/Insulin).
- Demonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IStat.
- Demonstrated ability to perform Adult Cardiac monitoring.
- Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborn.
- Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including ability to perform IV administration and maintenance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Bili-blankets/lights.
- Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers.
- Demonstrated knowledge to support gyn teaching & post-operative bladder training.
- Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching.
