Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Pediatrics – Onco/Hematology
Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Holiday Requirements Travelers will work 75% of holidays
Requirements:
- NC License
- 2 Years Peds with strong Onc/Hem/BMT experience
- Port access experience is a MUST, Bone marrow transplant experience with Day 0-2 is a MUST, Chemo administration, Blood product transfusion, cardiac rhythm interpretation
- BLS
- PALS
- End of Life care – Precedex gtt, Intransal Versed, Ketamine drips; chest tubes preferred
Oher Details:
- Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
- EMR: EPIC
- IV Pumps: Alaris
- Beds: 24
- 16 beds for Hematology/Oncology
- 8 beds for Bone Marrow Transplant
- Will accept first time traveler if they are a strong BMT RN
