Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (1st timers accepted) 2. Cases: Level 2 trauma including gunshot wounds, car accidents, ENT specialty, general surgery, orthopedic trauma, eye surgery, gynecology including Gyn oncology; NO open-heart surgery or organ transplants 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS listed in skills section 4. License: GA or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Approximately 7 days/month plus holidays; every third weekend; 24-hour call on weekends 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; must be finalized at submission; no holiday RTO if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment; 1 holiday RTO may be considered if 3 holidays fall during assignment 9. Returning Staff: Must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as traveler; return travelers must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying if cancelled or facility DNR 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded via transcripts, factored into NBO hours 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Provided by the facility 15.
