- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year medical oncology experience required; 2+ years experience required 2. Cases: GI cancer (pancreatic, colon, liver, esophageal), Gynecological cancer, Thyroid cancer, ENT cancer, Thoracic cancers, Sarcoma, Leukemia/lymphoma, End of life 3. Certifications: BLS required; must be AHA Traditional, does not accept RQI; copies required 4. License: Valid State License preferred at time of submission; pending license accepted with 90-day exemption if application submitted to licensing board 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required to submit 7. Shifts/Call: 36-hour nights; 4 weekend shifts per month; no on-call required; will float to Acute Care/IMC 8. RTO: Maximum 5 RTO days for 13 weeks, 7 days for 18 weeks; must be outlined upfront (no more than 2 weeks); additional days require contract extension 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 6+ months 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rates; will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby 11. Background: Will not accept any background or license hits; uses Advanced Reporting system for comprehensive lifetime review 12. Modules: Non-billable; RN average 4.5 hours; completed pre-start; recorded via transcripts; Relias exams require 85% or higher score 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any color, no prints provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown; COVID-19 vaccine not required 16. Special Equipment: Chest tubes, Trachs, Epidurals, PCA, Feeding tubes, JP/blake drains, Suction, Central lines, Ostomy, Wound vac Critical: Compliance deadline one week prior to start; labs within 48 hours of signing; 7-year work history verification required; references required.
