- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years RN experience required 2. Cases: Med/Surg with telemetry; 34-bed unit for acute medical conditions 3. Certifications: BCLS, NIH required initially; BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be through American Heart Association (AHA); copies required at submission 4. License: WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x12 or 3x12 nights 19:00-07:30; 3 weekend shifts per 4-week period; facility will only tolerate 2-3 call offs per contract 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last employment date; current Vandalia Health System employees not eligible 10. Travel/Local: Must have permanent address 100+ miles from facility; candidates 75-100 miles considered case-by-case at same rate 11. Background: Previous probationary actions reviewed case-by-case 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 8 hours, completed prior to start date, requirements vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: None provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16.
