Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Labor and Delivery/LDRP Float
Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36 hrs/week +Call, Every third weekend, every other holiday
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- ND license
- 2 Years Experience
- Previous travel experience
- Able to read and interpret fetal strips, critical thinking, follow quality metrics, must be able to read strips
- BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Preferred: ACLS, NRP, STABLE
Other Details:
- EMR: Meditech
- # of L&D Beds: 15 total- 7 L&D, 8 Postpartum
- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: 1:1 for pit, mag, or insulin drips. 1:3 couplet care
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Mix. Mainly obstetric/neonates, hypertension, GDM, try not to deliver anyone less than 36 weeks
- Could float within skillset
- Floating Requirements: Yes – Medsurg, ER. wherever in the hospital the nurse is needed – perm staff is usually first to float
- Radius Rule: 50 miles
