Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Labor and Delivery

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Holiday Requirements  Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Requirements:

• NC License 
• 2 years in Labor and Delivery, ability to work LDRP
• Labor and Delivery Nurse skills – labor management, circulate cesarean sections, Pre-op, PACU, triage, resuscitation of newborns, Pitocin management, epidural management
• BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP

Oher Details:

• EMR: Epic
• Will be required to float
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
• Ability and willingness to work LDRP setting
• Unit Information:  Beds: 8 labor rooms, 3 triage rooms, 1 OR suite and 1 PACU, 4 to 6 patients on average/day
• RN: Use AWHONN Staffing Guidelines 1:2 Inactive labor; 1:1 Active Labor; 1:3-4 Couplets
• Technology/Equipment: IV Pump: Alaris, Med dispensing: Omnicell, Monitors: Fetal Monitor, Philips Monitor for Newborn, Unit specific equipment: Scales, Ultrasound, Ambulation assist device
