Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Labor & Delivery 48’s
Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, EOW, will consider 36
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- CA License
- 2 Years Experience
- Be familiar with maternal/fetal triage index
- Savvy newborn care postpartum needed – must have strong immediate care after delivery
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN
- 4-5 years of experience ideally
- Travel experience preferred
Other Details:
- Float requirements: Can float but not mandatory to M&B
- Number of beds: 13 labor beds, 3 OR suites (5 total), 6 bed triage, 4 bed recovery, 4 bed PACU
- Ratios: 1:2, 1:3 antepartum
- Nursing support: Surg techs for surgeries and LVNs
- Specialty equipment: Blood warmers, rapid infusers, bear huggers
- Common diagnoses: Laboring, hypertensive disorders, diabetes, complications by fetal abnormalities, high risk pregnancies
