Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN- Critical Care Float -ICU
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×1, 12hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- OR license
- 2 years of Critical Care ICU Experience required
- BLS
- ACLS
NIHSS - Epic experience required
- Travel Experience Required
- Trauma Level I and Level II preferred
Other Details:
- Float Required – MICU, CVICU, TSICU, NSICU – Must have Exp in all areas listed
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
Critical Care Float – ICU RN – NIGHTS 1900 – 0730
*2 years of Critical Care ICU Experience required*
*Epic experience required
Patient Age Group:
Adults
Geriatrics
Float Required – MICU, CVICU, TSICU, NSICU – Must have Exp in all areas listed.
*Float to a variety of assigned units; sufficient time management, flexibility, and prioritization skills to float up to every 4 hours if necessary
*May be required to provide continuing care and monitoring of patients in locations off-unit for diagnostic, procedural, or transportation needs.

Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response –
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
Medications:
Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
Respiratory:
Care of Ventilated Patient
Additional Skills:
Well rounded exp in different ICUs
Orientation:
4 orientations (each area of ICU) required – to be scheduled with facility based on CLN and facility availability.
***Must be able to pick up badge on a Mon – Fri (7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). Badging office is closed on weekends – no exceptions.
Modules:
Candidate is responsible for completing up to 15 hours of modules, including EPIC course/exam, independently before being cleared to work.
