Requirements
– 2 year recent exp in specialty
– AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, NIH
– Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified
– floating to Stepdown / PCU is required patient ratio is 1:3
– EPIC experience (no training provided)
-LA Fire Card (must get withing 30 days of starting) can sub without
-Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring

– MICU, SICU, Cardiac, PCU, STEPDOWN and Neuro
-Cardiovascular, Multi-trauma, Gun Shots, Stroke and Stemi Center, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Ortho
also 12 Overflow beds
Level 2 Trauma, Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center with high acuity neuro population, STEMI receiving, CABG/Valve/IABP, CRRT, Sepsis, Surgica
-Lines, intubations. Travelers will not be required to assist with ICP monitoring or placement, IABP,
Conscious sedation, GI Procedures, Chest Tube Insertions
Cardiac and GI procedures at the bedside if unstable

– 3-month separation
• Candidate is responsible for completing up to 10 hours of Providence and specialty specific modules, independently before candidate will be cleared to work
Core Modules:
• RN/LVN: (9.9 hours)
• ICU RN/LVN: 1.5 hours
