Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Local Shift RN – ICU
Shift: Nights/ 7p-7:30a, 12×1, 12hrs/week
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- CA license
- 2 years’ recent experience in specialty
- Line draws, and IV site maintenance are skills are required
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIH
- EPIC experience required
Other Details:
Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified
Floating to Stepdown / PCU is required patient ratio is 1:3
COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
*EPIC experience REQUIRED*

Requirements

– MICU, SICU, Cardiac, PCU, STEPDOWN and Neuro
-Cardiovascular, Multi-trauma, Gun Shots, Stroke and Stemi Center, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Ortho
also 12 Overflow beds
Level 2 Trauma, Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center with high acuity neuro population, STEMI receiving, CABG/Valve/IABP, CRRT, Sepsis, Surgica
-Lines, intubations. Travelers will not be required to assist with ICP monitoring or placement, IABP,
Conscious sedation, GI Procedures, Chest Tube Insertions
Cardiac and GI procedures at the bedside if unstable
Magnet Facility
Amazing Team, high acuity, Friendly, fast paced. You are part of our team. Do not float first. Float in rotation with all Team members
-Alaris pumps, Roche meters, Bedside monitoring Phillips, Vents, Suction, Drains, Chest Tubes
Orientation Details
– There are no orientations for this position, please make sure candidates are comfortable working.
Shift Detail
– 12-hour shifts
Additional Details
– Charting system: Epic
– 3-month separation
• Candidate is responsible for completing up to 10 hours of Providence and specialty specific modules, independently before candidate will be cleared to work
Core Modules:
• RN/LVN: (9.9 hours)
• ICU RN/LVN: 1.5 hours
