Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU/PCU Float
Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs/week, EOW
Length: 13 Weeks
Weekend Requirement Depends on coverage–usually require every other weekend
Holiday Requirement Depends on coverage
Requirements:
- TX license
- 3 years’ experience
- Must have Critical Care experience
- BLS, ACLS
Other Details:
Will be floated between 2 critical care and stepdown units
Expect to work either ICU or PCU with occasional floating to other departments if necessary
Charting System: Allscripts – Paragon
Ratios 2:1 (at times 3:1 depending on acuity), 4:1 on PCU
Common diagnoses/Types of patients Cardiac patients post CABG or PCI, sepsis, DKA, respiratory failure
