Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU
Shift: Nights / 6:45p-6:45a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW, First to float
Length: 12 Weeks
Weekend Requirements 4 weekend shifts per month.
Holiday Requirements Expectation is to work to meet the needs of the unit.
Requirements:
- TX license
- 1 year of experience
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Other Details:
- First to Float
- May be asked to float to ICU or PCU
- Charting System: MEDHOST – Enterprise
- Okay with first time traveler
- Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:2- ICU for PCU 1:4 – all same unit
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients Cardiac- MI, abdominal surgery, ortho surgery, Sepsis, overdose, COVID, general surgery. Post cath lab- some sheath removal (not required skill) Impella (not required), IABP (not required).
