- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1 year of recent Cerner experience required 2. Cases: Emergency Department cases including trauma, stroke, cardiac 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required (must be current AHA); CPI required (can get during compliance); EKG exam with 80% pass required on orientation day 4. License: MO RN or Compact required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 hour shifts, every other weekend required; patient ratio 4:1 8. RTO: Required 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone for at least 1 year 10. Travel/Local: No local radius rule; locals accepted at same rate; no first time travelers 11. Background: Client approves background hits on case by case basis 12. Modules: ED/ICU/TELE require 4 hours; completed pre-start; non-billable; recorded in NKCH education system 13. Travel Experience: Required, no exceptions 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Varied Critical: Must pass EKG exam on orientation day testing lethal rhythms. CEUs required: ED placements need 4 stroke, 8 trauma, 4 cardiac. Float to all competent units within facility. At least one reference required for submission.
