- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required 2. Cases: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required 4. License: DC license in hand required for DC locations; compact license or MD license required for MD locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: CERNER is required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Night; every other weekend (6 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule - Friday & Saturday nights) 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Must have been separated from MedStar employment for minimum of one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; candidate address must match driver's license 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Facility and unit-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; average 12 hours duration; billable up to 4 hours; completed pre-start and potentially during orientation 13. Travel Experience: Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment 14. Scrubs: Not provided; color royal blue required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16.
