Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ER

Shift: Variable D/N, 7a-7p/7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, Rotating weekends and holidays

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• MI RN License
• Minimum 3 years experience in specialty
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• 5 years experience strongly preferred

Other details:

• Float to ICU and Med Surg
• RN to perform ED assessments, general nursing skills.  Generally will see geriatric patients with CHF or COPD, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Trauma patients, Stroke patients, Cardio-respiratory emergencies, COVID patients, pediatric patients and other general medical concerns
• Unit Information (Bed size, Case types, Patient ratios, etc.):  9 bed ED, 2 negative pressure rooms, 2 trauma bays.  Staffing for 2 RNs on day shift through 11 pm, 1 RN on nocs with a charge nurse assist.  Requesting that this position may float to ICU or Med/Surg – 2 Bed ICU needing staffing to keep department open and enable staff to orient.  There is not always a patients in the unit, and it is only staffed if there are patients.  The position would also float to Med Surg, a 25 bed unit with 4-5 COVID rooms
• Must be outside 50 miles from facility
• Scrub colors required: Any colored scrub
