Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ER
Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
1 major and 1 minor holiday
Must be willing to take 1-2 on call shift per schedule
5 weekend shifts in 6 week schedule period
Requirements:
- VA License
- 2 Years Experience
- Must have at least level I or II trauma level experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- TNCC and CPI
- EPIC experience and previous travel highly preferred
Other Details:
- Level 1 trauma center – will not take trauma patients but need to have strong ED experience
- 73 rooms + 24 hallways
- Must be willing to float to one of the offsite ED’s.
- We are stroke, stemi, and trauma.
- We do not hold psych patients – we medically clear them and they are admitted.
- We do use sitters for suicidal patients.
- We do have security in the ED
- We do not have a separate fast track area. They are seen in the non-acute side of the ED.
- We see about 350 patients a day.
