Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Emergency Department – Adult ED
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday. Must be able to work all 3 shifts as needed per unit
Requirements:
- MA License
- Minimum of 1.5 years of RECENT Level I or II ED experience and/or 2+ years of recent Level 3/4 ED experience.
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks and pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 (85+%)
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC
- EPIC, Previous travel assignments, Critical care experience preferred
Other Details:
- (Must be flexible with floating to areas: Psych ED and Pedi ED (caring for age 15+ patients in pedi unless previous pedi experience)
- Patient Ratio: 1:4-5 patients (depending on acuity)
- Dept Details: Very busy ED, holds up to 120 “treatment areas” serving 350-440 patients/day. *Travelers will not be placed in trauma rooms while on assignment
