- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Daily caseload 10-15; general, MSK, neuro, vascular and cardiac MR imaging for adults, pediatrics, patients needing anesthesia and vent support, and conditional implants 3. Certifications: ARRT (national cert required, does not require VA license), BLS; ARMRIT, ARRT MR, ARRT R required; if AMRIT, 6 months required; must obtain all required certifications prior to start 4. License: VA or Compact license required with submission; VA license needed for Radiology positions at any MIF location (temp license fine for Stafford and Mary Washington Hospitals) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Friday 05:00-17:30, Sat-Sun 09:30-22:00; rotating call and holidays; generally 1 day weekday call, up to 2 days per week depending on staffing needs 8. RTO: At manager's discretion; will need to add week at end of assignment if requesting more than 7 days RTO; OR/CST unit only takes 1 holiday request 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year before returning as traveler; if traveler hits 1 year mark, must take full year off before returning 10. Travel/Local: No radius rule; locals accepted at same rate; candidates may float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals depending on volume/census 11. Background: Nursys only required prior to submission 12. Modules: 8 hours average, completed pre-start via WorkRamp, non-billable; must complete within 1 week of signing 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Caribbean blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Philips Ingenia Ambition 1.5T, Siemens Sola 1.5T; Sectra PACS, document scanning, Care Logistics software Critical: Some Philips experience required. Must include middle initial at submission. Submit copies of all required certs and current Nursys report.
