Requirements
- Required certification: Imaging Tech - CT
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; 1 year required experience also noted 2. Cases: X-Ray AND CT Tech combined role; Basic x-ray exams (Chest, Abdomen, extremities); CT exams (routine Head, Chest, Abd/Pel, with CTA's of Head/Carotid and PE studies) 3. Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT CT required; ARRT Advanced Cert preferred; IV certification required on NY license 4. License: NY State License required in hand to submit 5. Education: Alert account manager if traveler has foreign education requiring verification 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: Candidates will float 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO; needs manager approval 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Pre-start modules billable up to 5 hours; total may reach 10 hours; excess over 5 hours non-billable; recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Portables required; Siemens equipment; dual role CT and X-ray required Critical: Work setting experience required includes Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department. Patient age groups include Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.
