Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Pharmacist Inpatient

Shift: Variable Nights, (M-F) 9:30p-7:30a / (Sat-Sun) 8:30p-7:30a, 10×4, 40hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • NJ License
  • 2 Years Experience
  • BLS
  • PharmD, RPh cert required
  • Successfully completed NAPLEX required
First-Time Traveler Accepted
Charting System: Epic experience required
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Green – provided while compounding

Other Details:

Inpatient adults only
Can see peds in the ER
54 med/surg/tele beds
10 ICU
OR/SDS
radiology/IR
ER

Years of Experience Required: 2 years

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Shift Times: Night shift HOURS: M-F 930p-730a, Sat/Sun 830p-730a…
Schedule follows a 7 on, 7 off rotation

Weekend Requirement: Every other

Contract Hours/BiWeekly: 72 hours

Holiday Requirement: Per unit need

First-Time Traveler Accepted: Yes

Block scheduling? Yes, 7 on, 7 off

Certifications Required? PharmD, RPh, NJ state license required

Will the traveler float? No

Call required? No

Patient Mix/Skillset: The inpatient pharmacy supports our outpatient infusion department (chemotherapy and non-chemo infusions) as well as inpatient/ER

Role must be chemo-certified and able to compound hazardous and non-hazardous medication

Specific Equipment? Pyxis experience required, PharmacyOneSource experience preferred

Charting System: Epic experience required

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Green – provided while compounding

Other: Parking: free in any unrestricted space, no pass needed
