Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – OR Tech / Surgical Tech

Shift: Days / 7a-3p, 8×5, 40hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in specialty
  • Must have arthroplasty joint experience
  • Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology
  • BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS
  • Relevant acute care experience preferred
Other details:
  • 1st time travelers ok
  • Local travelers accepted

Job Summary:

Facilitates physician’s performance of invasive and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Handles the instruments supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly monitoring the maintenance of the sterile field.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: Required
Relevant acute care experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:

National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: Preferred
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Preferred
Facility Specific License/Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required
