Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Certified Surgical Technologist – CVOR

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

1st week: 3-12 hr shifts 7a-730p for orientation (Mon Tues Wed). No call requirements. 2 weekends/month. Holidays eligible to work: any while on contract

Requirements:

• 1-3 years related work experience
• Cardiac surgery and cardiac transplant surgery: Open vascular/ endovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, thoracic robotics & general surgery 
• Skills: Scrub general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck); GYN, Urology; trauma
• AHA BLS
• NBSTSA 
• National Certification
• Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred

Other Details:

• If candidate worked a surg tech prior to 7/1/2012, no cert is required or formal education required. If candidate worked as a surg tech after 7/1/2012 cert and formal education required- facility can determine whether or not candidate is required to adhere to state guidelines
• NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility)
• COVID vaccine required+ booster – Medical exemption acceptable 
• Flu vaccine required – medical exemptions are acceptable
