Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Histology Tech

Shift: Nights, 10:30p-7a, 8×5, 40hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:
  • FL License
  • 2 years of experience
  • BLS
  • ASCP certification and candidate attend an accredited school required
  • Electronic Documentation preferred

Disciplines REQ: Formalin, Frozen section/tissues Grossing/Fixation experience required; Automated/Manual microtome, Cuts Tissue Sections Using Microtome and Cryostat, Cutting Blocks, Embedding GI Specimens, Embedding Large Specimens, Embedding Molds, Embedding Smalls and Bigs, Embedding Skin Techniques, Histology Cassettes, Microtomy Of Fatty Tissue, Microtomy Of Hard Tissue, Paraffin Wax Sections, Precision Microtomy Embedding/Microtomy experience required; Carbohydrates and Amyloid, Connective and Muscle, Cytoplasmic Stains, Differentiation, Giemsa and All Formulations, Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) Stain, IHC Staining, Periodic Acid-Schiff (PAS) Stain, Special Stains Staining experience required
Disciplines Preferred: Microtomy Of Frozen Sections Embedding/Microtomy experience preferred; Prepares Frozen Section, Prepares Slides for Staining Staining experience required
