Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – EEG Tech

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Must work 2/3 major holidays

Requirements:
  • 2 years’ experience
  • Experience with Collodion/glue EEG hook-up
  • BLS
  • ABRET
  • R.EEG T
  • Charting Cerner

  • First timers accepted: Yes, if all other requirements are met
  • Types of Cases: Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, sEEG, Neurotelemetry, Ictal SPECT, routine EEG, Trauma, Critical Care.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Effective 11/30/24, facility will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
**Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
Pre-Screening Question: Does this candidate have experience with Collodion/glue EEG hook-up?
**PLEASE NOTE Clinicians must be okay with working 5 x 8 days during their first week or two for training and must be okay with all patient populations and floating 
Shift: 3×12 19:00-7:30
Types of Cases: Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, sEEG, Neurotelemetry, Ictal SPECT, routine EEG, Trauma, Critical Care.
Covers the adult hospital next door (University), so at time the team has to go do hookups, routines, and monitor adult patients. We also have a MLD unit that has adults that need Neuro services and at times we help monitor adult patients from across the system.

First timers accepted: Yes, if all other requirements are met
Weekend REQ: No
Certs REQ: ABRET, BLS, R.EEG T.

Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts – 40 hrs. in one workweek.
3, 12 hr shifts – 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts – 48 hrs. in one workweek.
