Requirements
- Required certification: Tele
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: CHF patients, acute MI's, post device care (pacemakers), patients with arrhythmias, general surgery patients including colon rectal, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic center patients, breast procedures and reconstruction surgeries 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS required; must be AHA certification 4. License: NY license required in hand to submit - no exceptions 5. Education: Foreign education must be verified - alert account manager at submittal 6. EMR: EPIC experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 4x12 D/N Rotation, 0700-1900/1900-0700, every other weekend 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Must be more than 75 mile radius from facility - locals not accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours, total may reach 10 hours; excess of 5 hours is non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any combo of navy and white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac Critical: Must be able to take 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio. Floating required. High volume unit with 26 beds for MS/Tele and 51 beds for general surgery.
