- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: COPD, asthma, Trauma, ODs and COVID; neonatal experience preferred but not required 3. Certifications: RRT, ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS required; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid CA License in hand required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Variable shift nights/days; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year); floating required within hospital or affiliate hospitals 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: 3 months required to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule applies; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 16 hours; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires PM approval; self-reported completion recorded in Workramp transcripts 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: RN any solid color, typically Royal Blue or Navy; OR/Cath Lab provided; Radiology BLACK; RRT Forest Green 15. Special Equipment: SVN, Vents, BiPAP, Bubble CPAP, High Flow; Puritan Bennett and Avea required Critical: Community Hospital and Trauma Level II experience required. Must have specific skills including NICU, Bicarbonate, Inhaled Flolan, Ketamine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide, Theophylline. Two supervisory references covering 1 year within last three years required. Candidates may float to sister facilities; refusal may result in termination.
