- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; pediatric experience required; minimum 2 years specialty experience for most positions 2. Cases: Daily caseload 5-8 patients; productivity expectations 10 half hours per day 3. Certifications: BLS required; CPR required; must be current/eligible for DC PT license 4. License: DC license required in hand; must apply within 24-48 hours of signing; pending license accepted for submission only with proof and pending license number; active license required before start date 5. Education: CAPTE approved physical therapy curriculum required 6. EMR: Cerner documentation system 7. Shifts/Call: Day shift; 40 hours/week guaranteed; no weekend requirement; no on-call requirement; every other weekend/holiday required for most units 8. RTO: No more than 1 week RTO; if full week RTO, must add week to contract; one holiday guaranteed; RTO submitted after offer will not be approved; must make up missed shifts 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone minimum 1 year to return as traveler; photo required upon signature 10. Travel/Local: No mile restrictions for locals; locals accepted at same bill rate; first-time travelers not accepted 11. Background: No license or background hits allowed 12. Modules: Up to 20 hours non-billable pre-start modules completed prior to orientation 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any color allowed, no logos, child friendly 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown; COVID-19 vaccine required plus booster with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Parallel bars, LiteGait, FES, aquatic therapy, wheelchairs, standers, adaptive strollers, adaptive tricycles Critical: Compliance due Monday prior to start with no pending items.
