- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1st timers not accepted 2. Cases: Vascular OR cases with Hybrid OR; Endovascular experience, Vascular service line, EVAR; Prefer experience with CSI, Penumbra 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred, Pyxis 7. Shifts/Call: Approximately 2 weekends of call and 8-10 weekdays of call per 8 week schedule; 4-5 per week with every other weekend; Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere 8. RTO: MAX 7 days; Spring Break blackout (April 4th-12th) 9. Returning Staff: Must be away for 1 FULL YEAR from all Piedmont facilities to return as traveler; If deemed unable to return to one facility, must complete one successful assignment outside of Piedmont prior to rebooking at new location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, hours factored in NBO; completed during orientation, vary by specialty; recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; Trauma Level I experience preferred 14. Scrubs: OR scrubs provided by the facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), Cell saver, Crash Cart Critical: Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract. Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager or above). Holiday policy: work all holidays if 1-2 fall during assignment; work 2 of 3 if three fall during assignment. Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics. May float to Main OR in rare instances.
