Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: General surgery, abdominal surgery, urological surgery, orthopedic surgery, hysterectomy, mastectomy, spine surgery, bariatric surgery; will accept pediatric surgical patients aged 12 and above depending on surgical procedure 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 1900-0700 shift; every other weekend required; floating to other units expected 8. RTO: If one holiday falls in assignment, expect to work it; if two holidays, expect to work one; if three, expect to work two; any RTO must be included in submission covers and assignment confirmation documents 9. Returning Staff: Augusta will not consider a traveler who worked perm for Augusta within the past 24 months 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals not accepted 11. Background: Zero-tolerance policy for THC; medical marijuana cards not accepted; drug screen required during compliance and on day 1 12. Modules: Not specified 13.
