- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of med surg experience required; travelers must have stepdown/PCU experience as well 2. Cases: Few surgeries, mostly overnight GYN surgeries. Wounds, sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, chest pain, AKI, dialysis, ETOH, liver failure, oncology, end of life care 3. Certifications: BCLS required; AHA only, specific requirements confirmed at job level 4. License: Must already be SC licensed; valid state license required with submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech experience preferred but not required for all positions except RRT; Meditech experience required for RRT 7. Shifts/Call: Weekdays, every other weekend, float, holidays as needed; patient ratios 6:1 days/nights/weekends; weekend coverage required 8. RTO: RTO must be approved prior to assignment start; minimal to no RTO; if RTO is NOT on submittal and NOT discussed in interview it will NOT be approved; preferably no RTO in first weeks 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year and must have been in good standing at time of departure 10. Travel/Local: Cannot live within 50 miles of facility; locals not accepted 11. Background: Facility will not accept any license or background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 8 hours; completed pre-start or during orientation; self-reported; hours factored in NBO 13. Travel Experience: Preferred; first time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not provided; royal blue/white required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed 16.
