- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; unit will NOT accept first-time travelers 2. Cases: Required skills include abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE; preferred skills include chest and image post-processing 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT MR, ARRT R required 4. License: NC or Compact license (pending OK for submittal) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 0630-1900 Thursday-Saturday; no call requirement; float required to NHRMC Ortho and NH Scotts Hill Medical Center as needed 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission; facility approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Required; non-billable (expect 2-10 hours) 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14.
