- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; less than 2 years experience accepted 2. Cases: Various critical care diagnoses, larger volumes of neurological and cardiac conditions 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIHSS preferred 4. License: IL RN license required in hand; Nursys within last 2 weeks; no license hits allowed 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; ratios 1:2, occasionally 1:3 if needed; floating required 8. RTO: No more than 3 days; no RTO first or last week of contract 9. Returning Staff: Former UCM, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must be gone 7 months to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate 11. Background: Must use legal first and last name for background check and badge process 12.
