Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU – SICU/TICU
Shift: Nights / 6:45p start time, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW
Length: 13 Weeks
Holidays: Rotate in with core staff
Requirements:
- CA license
- 2 years’ experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Prefer trauma experience

MAY FLOAT BETWEEN SICU (SURGICAL ICU) and TICU (TRAUMA ICU) DEPENDING ON CENSUS. BOTH SETS OF UNIT NOTES ARE BELOW
Unit SICU- Ratios: 1:1 – 2
Unit TICU- Ratios: 1:1 – 2. 1:1 IABP and donor patients. IABP is not 1:1

- Active California RN license required before start

BOTH SETS OF UNIT NOTES ARE BELOW** - Unit: SICU - Surgical ICU (background exp needed with surgical patients CEA, fem-pop, EVARs, laparotomies, thoracic surgeries) - # beds: 10 - Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Ratios: 1:1 - 2 - EMR: Cerner - Charge Nurse: Yes, generally does not take patients, but will do break relief. - Nurse Aides: Yes as Safety Attendants (sitters) - Weekend Requirement:
