Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN - PCU

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x1, 12 hrs/week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • IN/Compact license
  • 2 years of recent Stepdown/Progressive Care experience
  • Must have strong skills with titration drips
  • BLS, ACLS, NIH

Other Details:

Progressive Care RNs are needed for per diem at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Requirements
- 2 years of recent Stepdown/Progressive Care experience
- ACLS / BLS / NIH
- Current Indiana or Compact License
- References
- References – 2 Supervisor, Charge Rn, or above required within 2 years.
- Clinician must have graduated from must have graduated from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school.
- Must have strong skills with titration drips.

Orientation Details
- Orientation will be 3 days and held on a set schedule.
o Day One will be 8a – 5p on Tuesday.
o Day Two will be on-site 2p – 3p. The remainder of the time should be utilized to complete online modules.
o Day Three will be a unit orientation scheduled directly with the unit manager based on clinician availability.
Available orientation dates: Upcoming orientation dates are 3/18, 4/8, 4/22, 5/20, 6/3, 6/17

Shift Detail
- Night
- 7:00p – 7:30a

*Modules are to be completed prior to start(4-6 hours to complete).*

Additional Details
- Cerner – No experience required.
- Red Scrub Top and Black Scrub Bottoms with black, closed-toe shoes.
- 30 Bed Acuity adaptable Unit. Patients will range from MS to PCU level of care.
- 1:5 – 1:6 patient ratio based on level of acuity
- 1-year separation is required for previous IU Health employees.
- Covid Vaccination not required.
- Influenza – Required – The client will review medical and religious exemptions.
