Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Surgical First Assistant
Shift: Days / 6:45a-3:15p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week, Call: 6 on-call shifts and one weekend in a 6-week period
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience as a surgical assistant
- No prior travel experience necessary
- Davinci Robot experience required
- High School diploma Graduate of an Accredited school of Surgical Technology
- Graduate of Accredited school of Surgical Assistant
- Surgical Assistants with more than two years of SFA experience, and not currently certified, must receive their certification within six (6) months of hire date
- New Graduate from a Certified Surgical First Assist school must receive their certification within one year
- CSA** or CFA** required
- BLS
- Previous clinical experience preferred
Other Details:
- NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (no candidates within 50-mile radius)
- EKG Exam NOT required
- Robotics, spine, ortho, laparoscopic, gen, GYN, URO, Vasc. - Must be strong in most specialties
- Patient population: All ages
