Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Dialysis
Shift: Days / 7a-5p, 10x4, 40 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend rotation: potentially every other
On call? yes, shared call: amount tbd based on census and emergent dialysis needs
Requirements:
- WA License
- 2 Years’ Experience
- BLS
- ACLS preferred
- Experience with TABLO dialysis machines preferred
- 2 years acute inpatient preferred, will take mix of in/outpatient if majority is inpatient
Other Details:
- EMR: Epic
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? only if has 5+ years experience
- Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: AKI, ESRD, fluid overload, electrolyte imbalance, sepsis, post-op patient, critically ill ICU patient requiring intermittent dialysis
- Skills required: ndependent operation of hemodialysis treatments, accessing AV fistulas and grafts, managing dialysis catheters, managing anticoagulation, fluid removal and hemodynamic monitoring, troubleshooting dialysis alarms; NO CRRT;
- Floating: to inpatient units as Helping-Hands if dialysis volume is low
- Scrub color: any solid color, professional
