Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW, EOH
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- OH License
- 1 year of RN experience
- EKG exam will be required
- AHA BLS
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification - National Certification Corporation preferred
- Low Risk Neonatal Nursing Certification - National Certification Corporation preferred
- Care of the Extremely Low Birth Weight Neonate Certification - National Certification Corporation preferred
- Education Bachelor of Science Nursing preferred
- Recent OB, ED or critical care experience preferred
- Training EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred
- AHA ACLS preferred
- NRP preferred
Other Details:
- Position will accept local candidates
- Traveler must be able to flex between L&D and Mother Baby
- Scrubs provided on the unit
- 18 LDRP beds, 4 triage beds, 2 ORs
- Circulating and recovering C-sections *Bonus if can scrub but not required
- EPIC, Obix for tracings, GE monitors for fetal monitoring
- Level 1 OB unit, hospital has a Level 1 Nursery
- Ratios 1:1 or 1:2 acuity dependent.
- Ancillary staff: Secretary, OB tech and LPN's depending on census and availability.
- 60-65 deliveries/month, 650 deliveries/year
- Provider coverage: 24/7 in house OBGYN, and CRNA.
- Pediatricians are neonatal nurse practitioners
