Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

Shift: Days / 6a-6p, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule minimum

Call: one shift per 4 week schedule

Requirements:

• AZ license
• 2-3+ years of experience required
• C-section experience required
• Must be proficient in fetal monitoring and the actions taken for fetal distress
• Must be able to care for patients with pre-eclampsia
• Nurses need to be very proficient with their assessment skills and be able to handle OB emergencies until the provider arrives
• Must be able to function in L&D and couplet care (they don't always utilize their LDRPs as couplet care beds, but can do so if census is low)
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate or advanced Fetal Monitoring 

Other Details:

• Charting System: Allscripts 
• Ratios typically 1:2
• May float to ED or MS if experienced
• May float to other units of hospital (usually MedSurg) if needed
