Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN - ICU
Shift: Nights/ 6:45p-7:15a, 12x1, 12hrs/week
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- PA license
- 2 year of ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS
- Epic Experience
- NIHSS preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
Other Details:
- Floating required – MS/Tele
- Accepts 1st time travelers
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Medication System: Pyxis
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

-2 year of ICU experience
-Current BLS and ACLS Required / NIHSS preferred
-Epic Experience
-Floating required – MS/Tele
-2 clinical references reflecting ICU experience, at least 1 leadership reference from assignments within the last year
-Separation Period: 6 Months

-FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring
-Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Obtain 12 lead EKG
- Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP)
- Epicardial Pacing Wire Care and Management
- Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring
- Sheath Removal
- IV insulin protocols
- Chronic/Acute Renal failure
- CVVHD/CRRT
- Arterial line management
- Blood Product Administration
- Central line care/management
- PICC line management
- Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade
- Continuous IV sedation
- Emergency Medications
- Titrate Cardiac drips
- Titrate Vasoactive drips
- Assist with management of BiPAP
- Assist with management of CPAP
- Care of Ventilated Patient
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Interpretation of ABGs
- Suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Ventilator Management
- Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE
Preferred Skills:
- Procedural Sedation Administration
- CVA/Acute Stroke management
- ICP monitoring
- Lumbar drains
- Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
- Fresh tracheostomy
Shift Details:
-12 hours shifts
-18:45-7:15a
Orientation Details:
-1 Day of Orientation scheduled based on availability.
