Travel Nurse (RN) ER (Pediatric Emergency Room) Newark, NJ

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN- ER (Peds)
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x1, 12hrs per week
Length:13 weeks
Requirements:
- NJ License
- Minimum of 1.5 years of Peds ED experience required
- AHA BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Proficient Vent management preferred
- PICU experience preferred
- Trauma Level I and Leve l II Experience preferred
Other Details:
- Charting system: Epic
- May float to PICU and Peds
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Unknown
Peds ED RNs are needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of Peds ED experience required
- Proficient Vent management preferred
- Active RN License
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS
- Peds ED is separate from the Main ED
- PICU experience preferred, may float to PICU and Peds
- 2 clinical references, at least 1 leadership reference from assignments within the last year
- Cancellation Policy: 3 instances of last-minute shift cancellations (defined as within 24–48 hours of the scheduled shift) will be subject to review by the facility to be cancelled or a final warning
- RNs MUST complete de-escalation training course

Shift Details:
- Shift Times: 1900-0730
Orientation Details:
1 day computer training at home, 2nd day on-unit @ 7a
Additional Details:
- Charting system: Epic
- Scrubs color: Navy Blue
- 1-year separation for previous staff
- Parking is free in any unrestricted space. Security is not stationed in the garage but is directly next to the entrance. Garage is monitored via camera by security
- Clinicians can only pick up 2-shifts per week maximum
