Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Psych

Shift: Days/ 7a-3p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, Mon--Fri w/ rotating weekend

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• IA License
• 2+ year professional working with patients in a recovery setting.
• BLS
• Must have valid CADC, ICADC or ability to obtain within 6 months

Other Details:

• Department Details: Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for 18+ ages. Must be able to do CIWA/COWS, UAs and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries
• # Beds: 50 (20 female/30 male)
• Nurse/Patient ratio: 1 nurse on night shift; For the 7p-11p of the shift there are 2-3 BHA (techs) on shift. 11p-7 there is 1 tech on shift.
• EMR: HCS - electronic
• Additional Information: Voluntary patients, no restraints, Admin on call and Doctor on call at all times, no on-site security. Visiting hours are Sundays 1-4p. Orientation is 2-3 days of 12 hour shifts training until comfortable.
