OR Tech (Surgical Tech) - CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating room)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Certified CVOR Tech
Shift: Days / 6:45a-3:15p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week
Length: 13 Weeks
(6a for open heart cases), with call - approx. 3-4x per week & every other to every third weekend
Holiday/Call Requirements: rotating holidays- must be willing to work holidays
Requirements:
- 2 years of CVOR experience, open hearts, CABG, Valves
- Must be able to first scrub
- BLS
- CST or NCCT
- ND UAP
- Must register with the board
- Must be willing to cross train into general OR if CV volumes are low
- Must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume
- Average # of cases per day: 1-3 depending on the case as we do all thoracic and vascular cases as part of CV too
- Common Cases: Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneuryms) thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, ION robotic cases, ECMO, Impella 5.5, Stryker towers
- Radius Rule: 50 miles
