Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery - Birth Center
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length: 19 weeks
Weekend rotation: Every other, but can be variable based on need
No mandatory call requirements
Holiday Expectations: Yes, fair and equitable
Requirements:
- WA License
- 2 years minimum experience
- Skills required: High acuity experience: labor management and delivery of high risk OB patients, ability to triage OB patients, circulate in OR, cervical checks, reading/interpreting fetal monitoring strips; second set of hands (receive and recover normal newborn as needed)
- BLS
- NRP
- Intermediate FHM (AWHONN)
- EPIC experience
- 5+ years experience preferred
Other Details:
- Floating to Antepartum (within L & D) , postpartum (4th floor) (occasionally), additional assignments within scope and experience
- First time Traveler accepted as long as they have solid Charge Nurse experience and 3 years of nursing experience.
- Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN guidelines: 1:1 active labor; 1:2 non-active laboring; 1:2-3 antepartum, dependent on acuity
