Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele
Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, every other weekend/major holiday required
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- VA License
- 1 year of RN experience
- Experience in MS/Tele required
- Must be proficient in lab draws and IV starts required
- BLS and NIHSS required
- ACLS preferred
- CCRN Critical Care Registered Nurse preferred
- PCCN Progressive Care Certified Nurse preferred
- Education Bachelor of Science Nursing preferred
- 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
- Training EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training preferred
- Critical Care Course preferred
- NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (no candidates within 50-mile radius)
- MUST pass EKG Exam at Orientation
- 29 Bed MS/Tele Unit
- Equipment: Alaris Pumps, Hercules Beds
- Nurses draw own labs and start IVs
- 2 PCT’s when at full census
- Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or any combination of the two colors
- Ratio*: 1:5-6
