Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN -ICU
Shift: Days, 6:45a-7:15p, 12×1, 12hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- TX license
- Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU RN experience
- BLS
- ACLS AHA
- NIH
- Epic experience within the last 12 months
- Required Skills: SICU, MICU, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, 12 Lead EKG, IV Insulin Protocols, Renal Failure, IV Therapy, Medications, CVA, Hypothermia Protocol/Arctic Sun, Respiratory/Thoracic, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds
- Charting System Epic preferred
- Community Hospital Experience preferred
Other Details:
- Patient Ratio – 1:2
- Must be willing to float based on facility need
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Requirements
• Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU RN experience
• BLS, ACLS (AHA Only!), NIH
• Active RN License
• Required Skills: SICU, MICU, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, 12 Lead EKG, IV Insulin Protocols, Renal Failure, IV Therapy, Medications, CVA, Hypothermia Protocol/Arctic Sun, Respiratory/Thoracic, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds
• Patient Diagnoses – Post Surgical (Spinal, Thyroidectomy, DIEP Flap), Medical (Sepsis, etc.), Cardiac (Hypertensive Urgency/Emergency, Afib/RVR, Post Cath/STEMI)
• Epic experience within the last 12 months
• Must be willing to float based on facility need
• References – 2 Clinical References from Supervisors within the last 3 years. (1 required at time of submission)
Orientation Details
• Available Monday’s – 0800 to 1630
• Must be able to hit the floor on 2nd shift! No preceptor shifts!
• Modules – 8 Hours
Shift Details
• Days, 0645 to 1915
• Weekend Availability Required
• Majority of shifts will be opened within 24 hours of need. Please ensure clinician is flexible and comfortable picking up same day shifts.
• Clinician may provide availability for us to present to facility!
Additional Details
• Clinicians on travel contracts will not be accepted! Facility is only interested in onboarding local clinicians that plan to stay in the area.
• Patient Ratio – 1:2
• Scrubs – Navy Blue
• Flu Vaccine Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• 12 Month Separation Period from all Methodist locations
