Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN – ER
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×1, 12hrs per week
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- CA License
- 2 years of experience (1 year must be recent)
- BLS, ACLS, MAB or CPI, NIH, PALS
- TNCC
- Level I or II Trauma facility experience
- Stroke Certified facility experience
- Must have experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, arterial & central line management, starting IVs, administering meds, Neuro, Ortho, Peds, Psych, Respiratory, Shock/Trauma
- Charting System Meditech
- Trauma Level II Experience preferred
Other Details:
- AHA, RQI, and Red Cross certifications acceptable

Requirements:

– About the unit: 32 beds, about 200 visits a day, Level 2 Trauma
– Shift: 1900-0730
– 2 professional references required within 3 years of start.
General information:
– Meditech preferred, not required
– AHA, RQI, and Red Cross certifications acceptable
– Flu shot or declination required Oct – April
– COVID vaccine not required (declination accepted)
– Body piercings may not be worn in any visible body part (including nose and eye brows) except ears. Visible tattoos okay.

· RNs – Navy Blue, ED RNs – Black
· Urgent Care and Wound Care Clinic- Charcoal Grey
· LVNs – Royal Blue
· CNAs – Maroon (if you don’t have maroon, grey or black is okay)
· Technologists (Cardiology, Radiology, US, CT, and Nuc Med) – Graphite Gray
· Respiratory – Silver
· Laboratory– Caribbean (Teal)
· Inpatient Therapies – Hunter Green
· Lactation – Wisteria (Lavender)
· Transporters – Brown
· Breast Imaging Center – Pink/Black
· Pharmacy – Olive
· Emergency Department (all disciplines) – Black
· Ward Clerks and Ward Clerk/Monitor Techs – Eggplant (Purple)
· Inpatient/Outpatient Surgery and PACU, Cardiac Cath Lab, GI Lab and Central Sterile – Ceil Blue (provided by Henry Mayo)
The separation policy is 1 year.
