Requirements:
– BLS, ACLS, MAB or CPI, NIH, PALS
– 2 years of experience (1 year must be recent)
– Level I or II Trauma facility experience
– Stroke Certified facility experience
– Must have experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, arterial & central line management, starting IVs, administering meds, Neuro, Ortho, Peds, Psych, Respiratory, Shock/Trauma
– About the unit: 32 beds, about 200 visits a day, Level 2 Trauma
– Shift: 1900-0730
– 2 professional references required within 3 years of start.
General information:
– Meditech preferred, not required
– AHA, RQI, and Red Cross certifications acceptable
– Flu shot or declination required Oct – April
– COVID vaccine not required (declination accepted)
– Body piercings may not be worn in any visible body part (including nose and eye brows) except ears. Visible tattoos okay.
