Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Echo Technologist
Shift: Variable Days / 6:45a or 7:45a, 8×5, 40 hrs per week
Length: 12 weeks
Weekend Rotation: Every 6th/7th weekend
Holiday Requirements: No Major Holidays
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years Cardiac in a LARGE hospital setting
- BLS
- RDCS and ARDMS
- Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program
Other Details:
- Knowledge of electrocardiography and arrhythmias and conduction disturbances
- Knowledge of sterile technique
- Knowledge of mathematical principals including algebra
- Knowledge of how to use defibrillator and crash cart
- Ability to effectively perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Ability to work effectively with critically ill/injured adult patients
- Ability to gain optimal cooperation from adult patients
- Ability to recognize and properly deal with medical emergencies
- Ability to recognize and report equipment problems and malfunctions
- Ability to carry out basic clerical activities
