Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU
Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW
Length: 15 weeks
Requirements:
- WA License
- 2 Years Experience
- Skills required: cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring, vent/trachs and bipap management, invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, chest tubes, IV medication titration; may act as “lead” in ED holding, EPIC EMR experience
- BLS
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- CCRN preferred
Other Details:
- Accept first time traveler: yes
- This is a floating position to any ICU level patient or below; majority of time (75%) will be spent with PCU level patients in ED overflow
- Patient Types: respiratory failure, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, DKA, sepsis, general post-op patients, CVA’s, ETOH, overdose; NO craniotomies, major traumas, or major cardiothoracic
- Charting System & Equipment: EPIC (required), Alaris (IV Pumps), Pyxis (medication dispensing)
- 16 ICU beds
- Scrubs: any color, no camo – prefer navy blue
